Ms. Briggs--P.E.
Fitness, safety, & having fun are the themes for physical education
classes at Memorial School. Primary grade activities focus on skill
development and movement concepts. These skills are refined at the
secondary grade levels with an introduction to team sport skills and
cooperative learning. Sparking an interest in a lifetime activity is
the major goal. Being FIT is FUN!

Mrs. Williams--Music
Music class involves many fun and exciting experiences in singing,
moving, dancing, playing games, and listening. These experiences develop
musical concepts and skills. Every student performs in one musical

Mrs.Okolo--Enrichment
Enrichment
is for all students. Content is based on curriculum and meets once
a week for 45 minutes. Students are taught and learn through Gardner's
Multiple Intelligences. |

Mrs.
Collins--Guidance
Being a kid isn't always
easy! Students will have the opportunity to learn about social skills
and anger management. We will also discuss issues such as
bullying, tattling, and career exploration.

Ms. Lightizer--Art
Students from
kindergarten through 5th grade will experience a wide range
of art activities. They will learn about the history of art, as well as
art concepts, terminology, tools, and techniques. Students are
encouraged to celebrate individuality and creativity. |
